Whitepages app now has restaurant menus, oh and Canadians.

I don't know if those of you outside of the US have the Whitepages smartphone app for iOS, but I just got an update that said it was adding restaurant menus and Canadian telephone numbers.  Seems like an interesting development in local search.

I generally use Whitepages just as a phone book or reverse phone book.  I'm more inclined to use Yelp for browsing or one of the GPS type apps like Around Me, when I'm looking for something to do.

I've been using whitepages to find addresses of relatives lately. Yeah, I know that's out of character for me.  WPg is kinda scary if you have only a couple of bits of info to go on.  Makes me shiver to think the depth a real profiling program could generate.
