This is how we roll...

I have to admit I really liked them because he sounded just like me... "so I was coming around the corner and I knew I was coming around hot, but nothing crazy..."

And then you see the trail that is like 30 feet off 'the line', and that he wasn't anywhere he was supposed to be:) and even though he was obviously flying, at some point he definitely had the option of letting off, or going for broke... and my man floored it:)

...assuming the obvious, heli or sub?

hmmm.... tricky one - do I get torpedoes with the sub?

That is a good question... I don't even care about the answer, just that your knee-jerk reaction was to ask if you can arm it is good enough for me:)

I think I have to go w the sub too. The chopper is about convenience but it isn't about the ocean or really experiencing the water.

dogboy

Yeah, but this daydream centers around you... since everything is relative, and money is no issue, how would you do it?  Would you even really want all this stuff?  Or you would want other stuff?  How do you roll? Forget about the money aspect, because if we really had it, it wouldn't influence the decision; we would just do whatever the hell we wanted.

Like right now, I have the option of buying a can of beans or a can of corn.  I like them both but I doubt I would buy both just because I had the money.  I might buy both for another reason, but not just because I had enough money.  Same thing with this other stuff. Someone out there is afraid of heights and personal aircraft.  Someone else wouldn't want to be cramped in a sub. A third might pay you to get them back on dry land after 3 months at sea. Trav might just want a slightly bigger crane so he could drive his car on the back and bring it with him:)

Me, I might not buy either, and get a sailboat...

I'm right there with you, bro, but if my girl hears me saying that, she'll slap me and tell your wife;)

I sold this car to a guy in Norway years ago... imagine something like this in your smart car:)

dogboy

We still have this one... but the yellow one was sold (along with it's #s matching engine/hood, etc) as was a red 68 Roadster, I sold as well.  We also had a nice ZR1.  We still have a '54, although I cant find any pics of this one, here.

Track Day @ Pocono...

Given the infinite wallet etc, I would't bother with boats/planes or even supercars.

My fast driving days are long over, and even then, if the police couldn't catch me when I had my (original - not new) Mini 1275GT (and they couldn't) then anything faster is wasted on UK roads (its a long story, best told over a few pints)

So, I would buy a 1953 Bristol 403 (hxxp://www.bristolcars.co.uk/history/lrg-403-red.jpg) - between £10K and £30K - assuming I could track one down.

If I forced to opt for an air-travel option, I would get one of these : http://zzz262.multiply.com/video/item/2663 ... and a large hanger to use it in.

I like the idea of having my own personal Hybrid airship too - but they aren't really on open sale yet, so that will have to wait.

Its 151 hp and it only weighs 425lbs. Needless to say, it's a rocket. SCARY fast.

ahhh! that's what I'm talking about! He says incredulously, "...and then I hit this f###ing THING" ...ahahahah as if that thing had no business being in the middle of the woods, way beyond the willow saplings he was driving over...

ehheheeh yup, been there, done that, broke one rib:)

>Bristol
yeah, I like it.

>Blimp
heehhehe man I could get to Cuba on that!

I drive anything with a V8 that will run on Pabst, and loud.

I'd much rather have a heli than sub, I've been underwater and self-contained a good bit.
