Samsung and LG are pushing for the next prize in mobile devices: bendable screens.

The smartphone makers see the release of their curved-screen phones as a stepping stone to devices that can be wrapped around the wrist or rolled up like a piece of paper.

like 3d tv, i think the vendors are believing their own hype on this.  currently, i see this as 90% gimmick.
