I've been seeing these guys - how can it be used, do you think?  Honestly, I was thinking these guys might be good to resell, if you could identify a target audience that could use this type of functionality.

I've seen a number of similar ads lately. Haiku Deck is also claiming to create your slide decks automatically. A quick search shows that it is the same company.

Saw another yesterday that I expect is another product using the same basic algos.

Haiku Deck, BTW, could be a great way to save us all from crappy PPT decks. If I were running a conference, I would insist that all presentations that use slides be required to use Haiku Deck and would make sure all AV equipment was incompatible with PPT and its Open Office etc clones.

I like Haiku but I've seen some pretty crappy presentations done on it and some good ones on PPT.

Yes, you can do a great presentation on PPT. The thing is, I have been at presentations with 300-500 words per slide, which Haiku Deck doesn't let you do. Of course you can do an awful presentation with 30 words per slide. Ultimately, it's on the presenter to get it right.
