...Irish Wonder posted this on FB, and it sounded like something I would write, if I were younger and more successful:) The thinking behind it feels very similar.

I guess this could be in a number of forums, but I put it in here because it has to do with monetizing ideas, and one man's path down that road.

The guy was seduced by quick money that wasn't always honourable money.

I have no criticism of quick money if it's earned by providing honest value.

Too bad he didn't stick with and build on the things he actually got right.
