Man, you got to add the pictures!! Not everyone can appreciate the withheld image!

Rupert

I was just enjoying listening to it ticking over, and then you revved it :)

Beautiful!

Pictures..... Naw, I just ride it!  Never take a pic. Its warming up here though, so will try to get it out.

It looks identical to this, but with top box, cover on the tank... old Mans Bike look. Gets less notice.

>listening to it ticking
that's actually the 'dry clutch plates' you hear making that racket... not the engine rattling low on fluid:)  It shuts up some once you get it in gear.  Supposedly it gives a 3-4hp back to the bike but requires a stronger grip than hydraulic 'wet clutches'.

>old Mans Bike
...yeah, you keep telling yourself that:)

How about these beauties from today's trip...

After seeing the 'crazy computer den' thread, I think I may know who owns one of those...

just got this as a comment:
Quote

"i knew these german guys who used to do this in the cities. they'd ride with piano string slip knots around their necks tied off to the back of their bikes. the philosophy was that if you bit it at 120 on a city street it wasn't worth living through."

...and you thought I was hardcore:)

Quote...you actually have no idea how many times I have gotten off this bike and wanted to just post some random thread about how f###ing cool it is to try and hang on to this thing...

Ok tonight is the night... if you had a choice between sleeping with an Italian supermodel or riding my bike, there would be a woman standing at the curb looking at her watch...

God bless Ducati.

Zwart

Ok my bike is not much to look at unless it has ME draped all over it. In any case: no pics from me here -- soz  ;D

dogboy

Hey it ain't about the looks, it's all about the feel:)

As long as you are riding something, and keep the shiny side up, you are perfect in my book.

Brad

It was over 80F yesterday so I got my riding in. First real ride of the year and it felt good.
