Sort of skimmed this but interesting to many here I think

There's a lot in there I used to do religiously - fake name, birth date, email address, etc. Now I am more lax even as "surveillance" of many sorts grows. I guess like Jason, I feel like I'm cooked and if I want something to stay anonymous, I don't do it online.

I have the same feeling.  That said, I find myself posting less and less personal stuff online.

I've always avoided getting too personal on social media and then over a year ago started posting pretty much nothing but article links and then just went cold turkey on social media in January.

Honestly, the most personal stuff I post, and the one I worry about the most is... The Core

I once thought about how this would work for me and my family.

I've been straight commission since the 70's and I need to be able to reach out & be found.

NOW, at my OLD AGE I need Medicare and to get my money back from Soc Sec.

It would be a fun  experience but not relevant to me, at this time.

I did the dropout thing in the 80's when we moved to Fiji but they through me out of the country after six months and that was the end of that "midlife crisis"
