Elaine, I get up to Saltburn on the odd occasion, a beautiful Victorian Town isn't it? 

I have walked down Red Car beach, in low winter light, and the trains in the steel works look so tiny....  Amazing sight.  A coastline of extremes.

Great Kite surfing spot I believe....

I can't do over-nighters at the moment, so out of  London / Manchester / Nottingham London is the only one I could manage in March.

Sorting Dates and places is always tricky, with these good folk.  It is a bit like herding cats I am told.

We have a month, March, and Manchester. 

How about the 5th?  Or should it be in the week?   Where did we stay last time?  It had free wireless I seem to remember.

TBH when I suggested the idea, I thought we should go wherever is the least amount of travelling required.

Now if it was in the summer, that would be a different matter.
