I think what Peter is trying to say is can we keep the noise for another thread and post if your coming to Manchester on the 5th March as numbers are needed to book the restaurant

as much as its probably a big and exciting thing to you attending what ever prior arrangements you have already made traveling to a foreign country and Leeds sadly it is not applicable for this thread

I'm up for the Saturday meal and meeting some folk (being new to here).

Car Sharing...

I'll probably be driving down on the saturady morning from Edinburgh (and back up directly after the event - even if it's the early hours - or on Sunday morning), anyone needing a lift anywhere along the route (room for 1 comfortably in passenger seat and another 2 in the back, probably best for short people or not very long as not a great deal of room).

Also, what time does it usually start and end? Guessing the end bit is a piece of string, but would be nice to know if driving back up the road is possible on the day - no drinks for me

it will be good to meet you inbound

start time I would be say 1 - 2pm in the afternoon but there are people staying on the Friday night too so they will be around Saturday morning, evening meal say 7.30 - 8-00pm so finish dining around 9.30 - 10pm ish then back to the hotel or another place to have a drink and the end can be open ended to last man standing
