That's exactly how it is for me.  It is nice too, because later in the day I could eat a couple of nice hardy meals and feel satisfied.

2/4 - did better than expected at Pubcon, but then fizzled on the rainy weekend and couldn't get motivated for running in the rain

However apparently Tom tried to drive me down to the gym on Friday in Vegas.. was on my way out though.

I thought you said you had most of the day in Vegas. My flight ended up being an hour earlier than I realized, so it was a quick workout and an even quicker brunch at the Wynn.

Fun to see a lot of old (increasingly!) faces though. Sad to see some regulars missing.

Rumbas

Yeah, SAS changed my flight from 15:00 to 11:15 Good thing I checked their app Friday morning.

Pleasure meeting you and the wife Tom :)

2/4

Slowly getting back. Thanks for the motivation LM, needed that.

5 last week. 4 nights of league vball play. All day rec tourney on Sat. I did nothing but doze in and out yesterday.

Rupert

2/4.  a couple of runs. Thats good considering.  Was at the coast for the week so loads of stretching out the glut, and rolling on a tennis ball.

Yeah, but getting there has been tougher than usual. As I age, my metab is apparently slowing. Even with significant daily exercise working on my various projects, I'm having to stay <20 carbs 5 or 6 days of the week to lose anything.  Breaking out of the plateaus takes forever, too.

And now the holiday & travel season starts....

You might be gaining muscle which is countering your fat loss.

>gaining muscle

That'd be good. One of the things I miss about being 240 (and younger/stronger) is the ability to kill someone with a swipe of the back of my hand.

I think I'm going to fail to get out for a run in this rain, but... I'm going to say 4/4. Did some other short walks, but I exerted myself that many days.

We spent last week in Death Valley, which is incredible. Amazing place that most people know only by stereotype, including those who actually visit, but tick off Badwater (lowest point in the western hemisphere) and maybe Zabriski Point. But the place is huge (about 700 miles of driveable unpaved roads) and varied (over 11,000 feet of change between the high point and the low point.
