I dunno why actually, but I loathe and to some extent hate Uber and Lyft.. seems like the stories of bad management, a few personal really bad experience with drivers and just fed-up with all the disruption bs finally did it for me.
They ditched Denmark again which I found somewhat refreshing.. but that's just me.

Arlington, Texas is trading public buses for ride-sharing.
After introducing commuter buses in 2013, the city is replacing them with a new partnership with app-based ride-hailing company Via, which will operate 10 vans to shuttle residents. It's the first U.S. city to experiment with this kind of venture.
