This reminds me a lot of Japan in the 80s.  China is going to bust eventually, they are too over capacity.

Exactly LM

I made a lot of money selling office buildings to the crowd from Tokyo in the late 80's

Japan went under and STILL has not recovered.

The Lone Cypress Company. Isutani was investigated by the FBI in the early 1990s for money laundering.
Isutani's $341M loss taken on the sale of Pebble Beach was cited as an example of stupid Real Estate Investments.

Europe should sell high and then by low.

In 1999 the Pebble Beach Company was acquired from Cypress by an investor group led by Clint Eastwood, Arnold Palmer, and Peter Ueberroth.

The Chinese are buying up ski resorts and other vacation real estate in Japan. They tried buying timber and water supply areas as well, but the Japanese quickly enacted laws to prevent foreign ownership of such resources. It's hard to block them in other areas though.

It makes good sense for the Chinese to be buying resources all over the place.

I'm not so sure how wise it is for the rest of us to be selling ...
