I created a bot to respond to these types of emails…

    Sarah: My husband dead two years ago and the family members wants to kill me and my children and seat on the inheritance he left for us with bank here l am now in a hiding with my kids and the documents of inheritance is with us…

    Bot: Very nice! Where abouts are you located?

Imagine if reply-bots were widespread.  It would probably kill the email scam industry.  Either that or the other side will start deploying bots too and then we'll have endless meaningless bot chatter.

Somebody called me trying to get me to refinance the other day and I was just doing dishes or something, so I started telling her that I really needed to refinance because of my wife's medical bills and how we have a high deductible and now that she can't work every penny counts and I'm totally lost and not sure how I'm going to make it. At first she was sympathetic, and then hung up on me.

I would really love to have a service like this that I could use. I get so many of these. I'd love to waste their time as well.

Just set it up on a system using rotating throw-away domains... Let the bots battle it out among themselves.
