Quote
Etailz, a third-party seller on marketplaces such as Amazon, was acquired by Trans World in 2016 for $75 million.

Etailz reduced staff by more than 20 percent after Trans World reported $14 million in third-quarter losses last year.

Etailz indicated the layoffs were part of “a strategic realignment, which will better position the company to provide world-class service, marketing and sales to both existing and new partners.”

Ah, if only I had a dollar for every time someone said that about me, I'd be as rich as Josh Neblett

Ha!  He sold his company for $75M then got to still run it as CEO.  I bet there was a sweet severance package too.

I never really understood this. From what I saw and what I knew of the company they didn't really have anything really proprietary. They were great at selling stuff on Amazon which definitely has value. But they had no unique products or anything like that. Just a bunch of stuff you can get 20 different places.
