I was thinking about this. So, assume you are negative. If someone say delivers groceries and just leaves them on the porch, that's much safer than having groups of people huddle together and shop at the same time/place. The delivery person doesn't come in contact with you, and every person who puts in an order is one less person inter-mingling at the store.
Now if someone is already infected, getting product put on the porch is probably the most responsible way to get something.
Either way, getting deliveries has a lower social cost than shopping oneself. The deliverer is less at risk than the store workers.
