IMO Five Guys is a better burger, I think the reason why In-n-Out is so popular is that it is a very good value.

I'm in Cali right now. Will do some research on In-n-Out an report back. I have 5 Guys once every week or two so I have a good point of reference there.

I should also add that they are usually very clean and the staff is polite -- they get paid a few dollars above most fast food joints and it shows.
