Plastic wrapped items that say "Peel Here" but the layers will NOT separate no matter how long you pick at them.

Noted.  I will add this problem to the King of the World List. When I am named King of the World, this will be a priority decree, right after the one forbidding quotations without citations.

A related grumble, a requested addition to the King of the World list:

Jars, such as peanut butter, jam or pickle jars, which would be nice to re-use for other storage if only one could peel or wash the (@#$%) labels off.

KOTW should mandate easy-peel labels or else water-soluble glue to make jars and other containers easier and more attractive to re-use instead of toss.

Same here in Cape Town - the most expensive supermarket in South Africa recently changed their packaging and now their products are almost impossible to open without a knife and scissors!
