Yeah, I've found quite a few really nice foods --still adding a few every now and then. As for genres or cultural sources, I've found that I do the best with Southwestern / Mexican foods as they tend to be corn-based rather than wheat-based. They also use peppers rather than so much salt, and peppers are 'free' on my diet. Onions are free, too.
Overall, my diet trends toward being keto-ish. I'm eating foods -Layden's pork sausage, for instance- that the dietitians would nix but my great labworks pretty much give me carte blanche. I routinely push the envelope with new, forbidden foods, watch my labs, then adjust. I like my diet now, with the exception that I have to stay away from restaurants.
