I think I'm going to stick with Evernote for now.
Before Evernote and any of that stuff, I used Microsoft OneNote a little bit, but never took to it. Clunky at the time.
Zoho Notebook migration worked well at the note level and the individual notes that I checked all looked great. But it did not carry over any of the organization. So page speed audit results is next to door lock codes is next to invoice processing instructions etc. I think Zoho Notebook would be a perfectly good replacement to Evernote, but not so good I would reorganize my notes. Also, no Windows desktop client.
>>Zoho for pics and media, and Standard notes for text
I could use pCloud (Dropbox, Google Drive competitor) for all the documents and pics. The situation where I find Evernote really useful is, for example, the page speed audit mentioned above. I can intersperse my notes with screenshots, essentially getting what amounts to a web page that is accessible both locally and through an obfuscated URL. It's dead simple to just do a screen grab and paste it in without even saving the image file somewhere. Then keep typing and pasting as needed.
I suppose I could simple create web pages and then have pCloud just sync them to all devices.
I guess people like me are the reason that Evernote has experienced so much feature creep and is becoming an unwieldy beast. Everyone has "just a couple" features they want, but everyone's couple of features are different.
