Starts the new year off properly
« on: January 21, 2016, 04:43:58 PM »
Adsense just sent payment notification.  I think I have the minimum payment set at $200-ish.  The thing is, I am not running any websites now.  Oh, wait a minute... that old orange & lime static travel site is still up (I'm not naming it here in public side --might get another check out of the blue one day.)

It's a public service (ka-ching) cheering up the northerners with bright colors during the gloom of winter.

>think I remember

Yeah, that's the one. You and Torben chuckled over it at Drastic's. I think it was among the first script-generated sites out there. The first version of the script was written in C by an elf. I never liked not having the source code so I had LM rewrite it from scratch in perl. Thing is, the public loved the site. It was referenced by newspapers, travel mags, even rec'd a proper  citation in the  back of one of Neil Gaiman's novels.  ....Then you thugs took the  pour-variables-through-templates into spamming and ruined it for us whitehats. Shame on you. Hhh.
