Try Estibot.

At the end of the day, you'll always want more and the buyer will try to push it down. Money in the bank is better than a speculative price of what it "could be".

Traffic / Re: What's the latest wisdom on nofollow links?

Given that Google suggest you either remove or nofollow "bad" links if you've received a penalty in Google Webmaster Tools then I'd suggest they have no ranking value.

http://disqus.com/ is good. It does allow users to connect via Facebook.

Nice, like this idea. Surprised they've not got more text link ads. Good idea though.

Going back to the original topic, I think we sometimes give G too much credit and attribute human motivation to technical glitchery.  I've been seeing three sets if results in the last few days, but it seems like they are having issues with the implementation -- not like its a policy decision.

Agreed, the disavow tool has really screwed n00b SEO as well.

I've had a site dance like mad after some good marketing tactics ;)  and after a few weeks the site came stronger than ever. I simply waited...

This patent that Google filed is very interesting regarding this:

MC did say (not sure if that's valuable or not) that unless you've had a manual email in WMT then you're site won't get a manual review.
I wonder what happens if you've not got WMT then? :)

Water Cooler / Twitter on SEO Forums

Seems like MC does spend time on SEO forums (shock horror) but it's annoying certain forums index all the juicy bits. Time to start spending a lot more time here.

Disappointing to see at pubcon people dishing out their competition to MC also :( very uncool.

dead on, that one..

Dead on, couldn't agree more, but...

Now the rich kid owns all the party venues, the directions on how to get there, so you just have to stop by the rich kids party whether you like it or not.

Traffic / Google Drive - Login Status
« on: April 28, 2012, 03:10:58 AM »
Do you think Google drive will eventually go towards affecting your login status with Google, which then goes towards making personalized results normal.

I've got the Google drive invite and downloaded it, and it's brought down all my Google docs, but the crazy thing about that is they need to open in Google docs to load, which requires a login.

So with this, Google Chrome, Gmail, Google Plus, Picasa etc.

There is little room to move without now being logged in.

Google moving towards more of a closed model, which is an amazing feet to pull of considering how they began.

Thoughts?
