MF Global used to run E*Trade's futures accounts.  Etrade washed their hands of it when MF went under and I had a sh## pot of money evaporate.   "Wasn't us" even though it was through their system, login, etc.  Crooks - every last one of them.

You mean futures trading?    Tax treatment of 50% long, 50% short term gains regardless of duration of your holdings is great.

Just remember there is no SIPIC or FDIC - I just got my last dollars back from MF Global.

Haven't tried the pebble, but from the looks of the features it doesn't even come close.   LOVE the gear 2.   It's awesome.   The pebble doesn't have a camera or allow you to make calls - features I use a lot on the watch.   Voice control is also missing on pebble, although it might be nice to have eInk display I don't actually look at the time all that much.  If you are a TV watcher (I'm not) having a remote on your wrist is pretty cool.

It's not quite as hands free as Glass, and I miss some of the hands free features.   I had to go on a long drive yesterday so I took my glass - google's voice and maps integration for getting directions is something you couldn't do with the watch as there is no maps integration.  It's also much safer/easier to look at glass for a map than down at your wrist.

Glass's pictures are easier to take than the watch.  I tried to run yesterday with the watch, and it was really hard to take a steady picture whereas glass handles that situation rather well.

These are just features tho -- google's implementation of a watch would probably be better than samsung, and apple's may trump them all (although I wouldn't trust their directions).

My Samsung Gear 2 came today.   Awesome.   Way better as a companion than Glass.

Camera, email, voice commands.   All at the ready and usable on a device that doesn't make you look like and Glidiot or Glasshole.

It's a decent looking watch too, although it could use some apps (spotify, skype, etc).  Maybe with time.

I have one.  It's going to be awesome when Apple makes one.

It's nothing I use every day, but I like to take it running or skiing so I can take pictures hands free.   Other than that it's not all that useful for anything.   It's uncomfortable, and has a kudgy interface, not a lot of key software available.

I've ordered a Samsung Gear 2, and I think I'm going to like that much better.   It's fun to have glass, but I have it for what I want it to be, more than what it actually is.

I'd trade it for my roomba any day.

Got a 650. Thanks RC. Love it.

Got any recommendations for anything else I don't need and am not planning on buying?

I read somewhere it was 'more sophisticated' than the wget that Bradley Manning used.

I'm guessing curl.

Idiots.

Looks like a deathtrap.  Too many assholes driving living rooms complete with theater systems around the streets.  You'll be nothing but a speed bump.

Phone co's in the US routinely ask for SSN for a credit check when signing up for service.  Probably an alternative view in the app that requires SSN and like you said went live with a bug.

I once had Googlebot rent movies for me on Netflix, and another user had their credit card and profile showing in Yahoo cache.   Cloaking and user authentication gone horribly wrong.

Web Development / UK based dedicated servers

Can someone recommend UK based dedicated server.  Need high bandwidth dedicated machines... inexpensive but with 99.9999 uptime of course. ;)
