Mark Mustermann - - mysterious customer who was registering accounts on our website - regularly, like 30 accounts over a year period. We thought is was some hacker, so we banned the IP address 104.x.x.x
3 months later our Google Merchant shopping feed was stopped, generic landing pages. - why? it was working perfectly for us.
With 4 days and calls to Google, we were told that there are banned IP addresses, 404 error.. We only had 1 range of IP addresses banned, 104.x.x.x
Google was unable to access our website to test, so while on the phone I removed the ban of IP address 104.x.x.x ---> 2 hours later 10 accounts were created by Mark Mustermann.
I have no doubt, Mark Mustermann is a google-bot or google employee testing your website.
They create strict rules for us to follow, however spam our website, setting up multiple accounts and abandoned carts. Seems there is one rule for them and different rules for us.. Not happy.
