The truckers and rv owners keep talking about the winds in Wyoming flipping their rigs or ripping the awnings off the sides.  Apparently that isn't considered a freakish accident there. But -damn-

We have big pines here.  Maybe 90-100' tops.  A few years back one hurricane pushed the pines over including the root ball ...never had seen that before, as pines usually break before the tap root gives up.  Anyway, an acquaintance of mine had evacuated. Good thing he did, because 5 pines sliced his house up like an egg-cutter.
