So we have enough crazies here already, and all these others are coming from almost all directions. People in our neighborhood are selling rooms for $300/night and they're all booked from what I understand.

I figured the best place to be on Monday is the lake.

A friend in Idaho said houses in the path of the eclipse were going for up to $10k a night.

When I went to Zambia a few years back there was an eclipse and my plane was full of Euros going to Zimbabwe to see it. It is crazy how much people will spend on eclipses.
