But it begs the question; WHO, in their right minds, picked up a usb stick off the street and stuck it in their computer?

And with that comment, I know I am among the true nerds of the world.

Full disclosure: when I saw the thread title, I assumed it was a story of something really bad that happened when someone stuck an unknown USB stick in their computer. Last year, my students said they were having trouble downloading one of the files for my course and asked if I could put it on a USB stick and pass it around. I said "That's like have unprotected group sex. You can do it if you want, but I'm not going to participate." They were a little shocked.

I would put it in my PC that eats virii for breakfast.

"You can do it if you want, but I'm not going to participate." Hilarious :)
