Think: 175mph flying go-cart meets fan. I imagine the crashes would be spectacular.

Here's five inventions that will be available some day ... even if nobody wants them.
#5. Flying Cars

"even a minor crash with another flying car could send both vehicles plummeting to the ground while you scream in terror. Imagine the poor guy on the ground, sitting there at a red light, as a flaming five car pile-up is hurdling down towards him from the sky. If you're not scared yet, try to imagine what they're going to charge you in insurance premiums as a result."

I wonder if Progressive would underwrite that thing;)

It must be one hell of a ride though...

Pah!

In my futureworld the flying cars are all made of the negative gravity metal - that I invent in a few years time (probably).

... just after I finish work on the bottomless beer glass - got to get your priorities right, eh.

>bottomless beer glass

reminds me of another invention I saw somewhere.... beer tap that pours the beer from the bottom of the plastic cup at ball games, so there is no head. Really bizarre looking to watch it work...

the airbus thing is cool.  However I would imagine that it would lose some of it's appeal the first time it flew through a flock of seagulls at 600mph
