Affiliate software?

So, I'm looking to rebuild and promote my KidsFonts site. It's been suggested I do an affiliate program before, and that seems like a great idea... so is anyone around here running their own affiliate program? And if so, what software are you using to manage it? JAM seems to be the one recommended for ZenCart, but I'm just wondering if there's anything better out there. Thanks!

To give more information...

Mivox has a site that has layouts to teach children how to write numbers and letters and do cursive.

She gets decent traffic from that, and she wants to get affiliates to sell this thing for her...HOW does she do it?

Maybe clickbank would be your best bet?  There is a huge audience of affiliates there and it isn't too difficult to setup eproducts for one time downloads.   If you are doing a membership site you are going to need third-party software to mesh with clickbank's sales system.  I've dug into this a bit and there are like three or four ready made solutions which cost <$200.

We got our own software in development, but who knows when it's done...
I'd take a look at www.hasoffers.com

What are the good scripts?

It's just font + worksheet sets, one time sales... I don't currently have sales volume to draw interest from a third-party affiliate manager, I wouldn't think. That's why I was thinking I could set something up in-house to start, and if it took off, I would then consider using a third party.

Besides JAM, which seems overpriced to me, there's also Snap Affiliate for ZenCart, but I'd heard that was a bear to set up. I suppose I'll get the site rebuilt for starters, and then figure out what I'm going to use. :-)
