Anyone had any success getting their PR into media stories using HelpAReporter.com (US) or ResponseSource.co.uk (UK)?

Client of mine uses responsesource and has landed some blinding links from it.  They're very much "in those circles" though. Always feels like that makes a difference.

used to subscribe Response Source in my old agency life, and got some great links out of it.  Editorial links in national press sites (mirror.co.uk, etc.).  I think someone may have landed a BBC.co.uk this way as well.

have been on the HARO list for the last couple of years (they don't seem to accept my unsubscribes!).  It's much more US-focussed, but if you check it frequently enough you'll find international opportunities.
