Concept is very simple

Currently people goto the supermarket and buy loads of stuff and then try to make some food from what they bought.

In the future people will decide what they want to eat and the supermarket will deliver the suitable food.

Thus shopping for food will change.

Someone will create some apps to do it.....thats why I got involved. Nick got me and 3 "clever" advisors. He also then showed it to 2 vc's who backed it. He already has more vc's sniffing round.

Nick personally is a good salesman and has surrounded himself with people who can deliver a vision.

Tie whisk in with some online but mainly offline vouchers and I think it could fly. Be plenty of food producers lining up to sponsor the recipes. Could be a huge driver of sales for food stuffs.

What a fantastic idea I've been looking for something like that for years.

Chunkford - thank you for traumatizing me  :P

QuoteBritish entrepreneur, who does the UK version of The Apprentice. Basically a poor man's version of Donald Trump.

Also:

- borderline con man (see Amstrad shares debacle in the 80s)
- up his own arse (gets everyone to call him Lord Sugar)
- less talent than he thinks (emailer etc)
- no taste in friends (best mates with Piers Moron; see Twitter)

so you think trump is non of the above then eh ?
I've learned that pleasing everyone is impossible. But, pissing everyone off is a piece of cake!

Pretty much, but Trump at least has a semblance of charm to go with the cheesy bravado. Sugar just comes across as an unpleasant runt  ;D

Met guys this week and interesting revenue twist is product suppliers are willing to pay to offer customers alternative products....ie recipe says Heinz baked beans, but you can get Cross and Blackwell for half the price
