Raven Tools have their own crawled d/base, I think, and I know SEMRush have a load of stuff, but I don't really know how good their link analysis tools are

Raven uses Majestic SEO for some things and Open Site Explorer/Linkscape for others.

I think those 2 are the tops.  Majestic for comprehensibility and OSE for meaningful results.

Oh, so Raven have just built on top of the Majestic / OSE data then? I thought they'd actually crawled their own, haven't read in enough detail, clearly

Advanced Link Manager is an interesting tool, but takes up a hell of a lot of CPU.  Needs its own box for sure.

yes, they pull data from just about everywhere for all their tools.  Kind of a service aggregator in order to be a one stop shop.  I really like Raven - the guys behind it are really responsive to suggestions also.
