Anybody have a nice resource for public domain pics?

We've been using flickr, setting the advanced search to only include creative commons that accepts use for commercial use. Not really sure about the credit though - wether you need to give it and how to.

We've always used http://www.morguefile.com/ and http://www.sxc.hu/ for freebies. Not always the greatest selections but you can't really argue when it's free.

search.creativecommons.org/ can be useful.  It's just a front end for some of the common CC repositories. It usually ends up finding CC stuff on flick or via google images

Not free but photodune have a lot of the same photos istock has but a lot cheaper

for some types of images, ebay and craigslist can turn up a lot of "nobody is going to care about copyright" images.
