Google has removed their freebie email service which I used because the spam filtering was just so good.

I need to put Dad's business email on a decent email server.

I'd like the following:

1.  Inexpensive.  However, I don't mind paying for something good.
2.  I don't want pop.  I want ONLINE email service.
2.  Online interface must be easy to use.  This is, after all, for my father and Squirrelmail just won't cut it.
3.  Good spam filtering
4.  Good spam filtering
5.  Good spam filtering
6.  The ability to use my own domain.

I'm not even sure where to look.

I'm looking at Fusemail right now...anyone have any experience with it?

Have a look at www.outlook.com
I'm really digging their interface ATM

If you like it then you can assign your domain through here - http://www.domains.live.com/ and start using their platform :)

They started charging for their service, and I'd rather pay someone else.

I feel lucky to have several domains grandfathered in to the free Google Apps system. It was great while it lasted, but future setups will be following Chunkford's suggestion... Microsoft's Windows Live Domains look like the best alternative. It's even better in some ways...You get more accounts per domain and there are no mailbox size limits.
