WOW, just used bing for something and I must be under a rock at the moment.
They've changed their logo and their results look like Google's. I had to double check for a moment then.

They still lack the depth of Google but for 95% of my searches they do the job.

Bing plus Yahoo are about 22% of my search traffic currently.

Are you actually using Bing regularly?

I'm about 90-95% happy with my DuckDuckGo default, but always wonder if there's something better.

I use Bing on my smartphone because it provides local search.  I use (Bing derived) DuckDuckGo on tablets and computers.  Like you, I'm about 90 to 95% happy with these Google alternatives.  I could never say that before with other engines.

Every time I've done one of the "blind search" tests, I end up choosing Google in 80% to 99% of the searches.

If I'm doing plain old consumer, general information searches, I'll go with Google about 80% or a bit more. If I'm doing actual scholarly research (which I don't really do anymore, but was until recently), my Google vote goes up to close to 100%. Once I get onto some obscure scholarly topic, the other search engines often provide no answer at all, so there isn't really a contest (Google books being a killer feature there).

I haven't tried in a year. For a while it looked like MS might make a run for it for esoteric/scholarly search when they had a competing project to Google Books, but they abandoned that to focus on the more consumer market (smart choice, just not for me).

So as much as I whine about Google dominance and their ad-heavy results pages, every time I try to switch I find Google to be roughly equal in every case except the ones where they are vastly superior and so, after years of whinging, I've completely given into the Gorg. I almost signed up for a paid Google Apps account the other day!
