mm, I have been looking around at the security of my phone, and the rest of the family.  Anyone got any experience?

Mr Mackin.. do you use any?

I just saw Trend Micro has a free package (I assume freemium) that came up on my Kindle (it always shows you "related apps" below the installed app on your carousel)

On all my Android devices the first thing I install is AVG free app. But I'm not sure if it scans for adware.

I have not been running any anti-virus on my phone.  The most comprehensive AV for Blackberry has some reviewers reporting conflicts so I just avoided it.

On my Blackberry phone, all the apps from the Blackberry World official app store are scanned twice: once by Blackberry's proprietary scan and a second time by TrendMicro software so I feel pretty secure.  I can run Android apps form the Amazon App Store in emulation, but most of these tend to be from major firms if that offers any protection plus I'm assuming Amazon is screening as well.

Now you have me wondering if I should be running AV on it as well?
