I have been using Livestream for a while - http://new.livestream.com/live-video-tools

Good service and good software.  Free version plays an ad when you connect, but other than that it's great.

I let my son-in-law do all the config stuff, but you don't want to use any of the cam vendor servers unless it's just for a quick demo or somesuch.

We use the Foscam wireless IP and port forwarding (I think it's port forwarding) to view remotely.

I am revisiting this for a friend. Not a massive budget.

I'm wondering if things have changed. I tried to do it for a charity but it was hard. I even had the Youtube charity account.

I have access to a 4mb/s up.

Any tips or suggestions please?

What is the end goal?

Stream to many or just stream to a few known people?

Initially a few. Clients of my friend. But there would also be interest as it is wildlife (of sorts)

But I couldn't tell from your query if you're looking for something like this - 24/7 stream - or more the broadcast model. If it's wildlife, it sounds like this might be what you're after
