BBC pix are good

What caught my eye in the first batch of photos I posted were the tires burned off the new cars lined up at the port parking lots.  They were some distance from the epicenter, so the fireball must have been unbelievably powerful.  What I couldn't tell was whether it was just the first few rows.  Looks like it was all of them. Just plain incinerated. Damn.  Looks more like a nuclear blast than a chemical one.

>nuclear blast

Yeah, I thought the same thing.  The official death tolls seem low considering the magnitude of the blast and that it happened so close to a populated area.

Saw vids of people some distance away being knocked over. Just mental.

If it was nuclear it should be easily identifiable.

> death tolls seem low

And the government will undoubtedly ensure the official total stays low.

Holy crap!  WTH went on there?  Underground storage bunkers?

Official death toll = 104.  Yeah, right.

Says they were holding 700 tons of sodium cyanide, where they were only legal to hold 10 tons.

So whatever it reacted to/with, this result is 70 times what should have been worst case scenario.

QuoteZhi Feng, general manager of the warehouse's operator, Ruihai International Logistics, has been under police watch while he receives medical treatment to ensure he does not flee during an investigation

Yeah, he'll make a good scapegoat. He'll be executed as the one who was entirely responsible.

Album here. 2nd explosion shook the camera so hard it really couldn't be stabilized that well.
