Yes. this is WP.  Seems to be when you use their installer

Friend of mine has several sites there. I just checked one that's about 2 months old and didn't see anything.

Does the admin user show up in the WP dash for users?

Does the page show up in the list of pages in WP?

Yes to both (I think). Doing it from memory as I deleted ours

I think that it is only when you get them to create a new install using the "one click install" rather than any site you migrate. 

ok thanks. He just checked over his 17 installs and didn't see anything but will be on the lookout and planning to move away from this host.
