Despite the horrid revelations regarding surveillance under Bush and Obama, I honestly did not think that even under Trump we would so quickly enter a world where Americans involved in dissenting, yet by all appearances legal, activities would have to consider using anonymizing proxies when surfing the web in order to avoid being caught in massive government dragnets.

Could go bad. But I have to say that one of the things I really like about The Core is that it's a place where reasonable people have reasonable opinions that disagree with my (hopefully) reasonable opinions without ever getting into name calling.
