Nice concept, but it seems overpriced and it only has a 100 mile range.

Particularly when compared to the Elio (who did the legislative groundwork in 50 states to get 3-wheelers approved as a separate vehicle class).

Exactly.  Perfect for a commute.  Or, enough mileage to get you to an airport where you can fly somewhere else for vacation.

Except that would require a motorcycle drivers permit and probably a helmet under most state laws, IIRC.  Elio got the cockpit-covered 3-wheeler set up as a new vehicle class in order to get around that (while avoiding the crash protection and other mandates for 4-wheelers).

$15,400 now we are talking.  100 mile range on a 110v 6 hour charge, that is doable.  So what if it is a single seater, I see a lot of cars, including my own with only just a driver. 

We are getting close to that sweet spot for mass adoption of electric vehicles.

I still want a small EV pickup or van.

Remember that any 3-wheeler design for the US is likely to be because it is circumventing the crash standards.  These are motorcycles with amenities wrapped in a thin candy shell.

Exactly what I am thinking...I'll stick to the bike or a real vehicle.
