My oldest kid is really into sketching up the layout of tiny homes.  She wants to build one and live in it.  That one you linked to is pretty well thought out.

With just a cursory run-through, I think that one is the best I've seen for 2 people, though the low ceiling is the bedroom is a nuisance.  I like the staircase. I'm not keen on lofts with ladder access.

Tell her to bookmark that newatlas site (and clear cookies), they feature a good number of tiny homes.

Yeah, I think that would not be fun unless you were under 25.  I already sent her the link :-).

$150 to $350 per square foot... that's pretty pricey compared to the costs of building from scratch. I realize that as size decreases, cost per sf goes up, but still, that doesn't seem like a bargain

That said, I really like the look of some of those.
