Just had cause to download a couple of my sites, that were built dynamically, but I want to shift them to static, and another host for various reason of ease, cost, and site speed.

Found this handy free tool:

WGET can do similar, it'll recursively work through the site and download the structure including folders, with options to exclude file patterns.

I think there's also an option to change absolute links in the site to relative... all from the command line.

We also used Jobo for a long time. Will do complete downloads as well:

I knew that one sounded familiar...I have a copy of HTTrack on my workstation that I hadn't used since 2008. The latest version looks a tad more robust.

Last time I needed this I couldn't get httrack to work properly. (don't remember the details) I found backstreet browser which did the same.

Unfortunately it looks like they just went from freeware to paid app. And I do mean "just," the cached page from 1-20 still shows the freeware 3.1 version. You can still find the older free version at various dl sites.
