I was thinking that the other day... What should the home assistant be called? I dont have one yet (OK Google I guess on my phone)

We have the defaults:

Siri,
Alexa
OK Google
and now
Alice.

Why not something like Uncle Sam?

I like Simone..... Rose, is good...

No, Happy... what could be better?

I DO NOT need some machine.

I was tempted to buy some Alexa-connected Billy Basses and change Alexa's name to Billy. I've been told that isn't going to happen.

I've been thinking about this as well. It came to the forefront when I extended the household jabbernet's reach by linking it to lighting control.  We use 'echo' as we have a granddaughter named Alexa.  I'd like to have some naming parameters that allows for more natural-feeling commands.  We're also having some issues with room names --too many types of 'den lights', for instance.
