Looks like there is a PR update going on!

Only seen updates to my UK based sites so far, so maybe it is still ongoing?

Anyone else seen a change?

I know Google PR means nothing to a lot of people now, but to me it is still a help when selling ads.

PageRank sure does come in handy for selling ads :)

Not seen any changes on hadnful of sites i've just checked.

... Make sure you live before you die.

I'm seeing some changes now too.

I think the last update was in April last year. Why are they suddenly updating? I thought they stopped updating as a way of phasing out  PR to the public

Gurtie

p'raps to see how many people still talk about it?

PaulH

:)
Love updates - means all those expireds i've bought will start showing some green

Agencies, SEO's, and elfs are all just as bad, regardless of how good the backlink profile is very few will pay or exchange until showing lots of green.

I wonder if it is anything to do with the SEOmoz rankings picking up the business?  I know a lot of my customers have been trying it in place of PR.  Maybe the G didn't like that idea.  Who knows though, that is just a guess.

Anyone have any input on when the snapshot was taken? I've read comments that it looks like it's from maybe June?

I'm not sure, but it would make sense.  Where did you get that info from?

A wmw poster said they had new sites built in May now with new PR, but sites built after July don't.

Seems a bit old, and not surprising they want old data in the toolbar.
