Getting away from anything that has an OS for few days, that's a reward n#1 for me. If I have the slightest chance, i go in some green area, in summer often with the bike

In the future i'd like to exchange the green area with a greek island  ;)

QuoteFor me it's time with the kids... and when I've had enough of them I reward myself with time away from them in the office!

hahahah!

@dogboy - thats what bodyboarding does for me as well, where I live in Cape Town and where I catch a few waves we have mountains on three sides - awesome feeling being out in the water with the view...

The wind is pumping right now - but there should be good waves on Thursday :)

@creative - aren't there sharks that eat you off the coast of Cape Town??

Have to say, even if I contribute or learn nothing in this forum, reading "wank" as how you reward yourself for a successful business deal is worth the trip here. Reminds me of my favourite Steve Coogan moment when his travelling salesman character Gareth Cheeseman ties up an important sale:

<rubs hands together> Right....a wank I think!

Unfortunately Cape Town has the biggest population of Men In Grey Suits (not many people who do watersports in Cape Town call them s***ks) in the world due to a steady source of food all year round at seal island.

I think I might have to take inspiration from these more active ideas and get outside after my next success!

A nice dinner out, steak of course, usually for me. Sometimes buy something mid-big ticket.

Admittedly though, I expect excellence and big hits are sort of what it should be. If I have something fun I want or want to do, I tend to make an excuse to do/buy it.

Last big sale, I went out and bought myself a sports car.  In retrospect, taking up smoking might have been healthier.

A full course fugu dinner (poisonous pufferfish) usually hits the spot.

I make a huge dinner for other people.  I love to cook.  It helps me relax.  My latest thing is different types of custards and puddings.  I made cream puffs the other day just for kicks.  It took about 4 batches of pudding to make the recipe exactly how I liked it.
