Stunning link bait if they are not fuckwits.

I think one of the biggest problems I have with making money on the internet is that the British Royal Family, the American Royal Family (Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie) and all such things are almost entirely off my radar.

It's hard for me to even conceive of someone buying that commemorative mug.... but I do think that a nice commemorative mug modelled on this one but featuring Charlie Sheen and Moammar Qadaffi might be something I could get behind.

You do realise they have the wrong prince on the mug :-)

Gurtie

awesome. They even bothered to register a company.

I have to admit I'm tempted to give the a couple of links just because they deserve it :) If they can get it picked up by the Sun or the Mail it should fly!

You bunch of cynics!  Can't anyone just be a fuckwit anymore??
Tempted to buy a mug and fund out whether it's genius or fuckwittery at play.  Gurtie : When's your birthday?

I still don't like the word 'fuckwit' - at least not coming from a bloke (?)

4Eyes

.. ah yes, but 'fuckwittery' is a wonderful word :)

Oh, I so wanted that to be real. For added authenticity a domain registrar in the far east would have been a nice touch rather than 123-reg. Fair play though, dying to know who's behind it  :)

Ya know, we are all thinking it is link bait, but just maybe there is another angle - if the cups really exist, they may well sell a shedload of these to people who are either enjoying the joke, or, as some of the linking forum posts seem to suggest, under the impression that they will have increased future value cos of the mistake.

There is a real paypal link, and £12.49 (including shipping) for a cheap chinese mass produced mug with the wrong picture on it leaves plenty of profit margin.

Either way, its still a smart idea.
