Once again, this explains something I did not think needed explaining.

I've been noticing that every time I search for an extension, it seems to be worse and worse. I noticed my aggravation and how it seemed harder and harder to find extensions that are the ones you want and that do the thing you want to do.

I did not take the next step to ask why. I guess because I've gotten so conditioned to the enshittification of search, it hadn't occurred to me there was a specific explanation.
