Looks like either the cpanel or the old version of SMF had a vulnerability that was letting in an exploit in.  I took care of the SMF update.  We'll see if that fixes the problem.

Let me know if there is any functionality improvements that you would like to see.

You're welcome, but tell me what you don't like or seems missing.

For me, I think it's all mostly here, it's just a matter of retraining muscle memory because it's all in a different places.  But it looks nice and SMF is still the best.

Looks good LM - thanks!

Is hosting needing some donations? Seemed like a year ago it was last mentioned.

Thanks, LM!

>donations?

Ditto what BOL said.

>SMF 2.1.4 © 2023

Wow! 2023!  That's the most updated we've ever been, hhh.  I was thinking that the previous install was ancient enough that hacker bots wouldn't recognize the code & vulnerabilities.

>lost

Data-wise, I don't think so.  But, damn, I'm lost. All my th3core hard-coded synapses are screaming.  And I gotta fix my TMky nav hacks.  No big deal, I'll get used to it.

So, the old "Active" (index.php?action=recenttopics)

is now (index.php?action=recent)  with an entirely different format??

I am good for donations for now.  Thanks.  I'll hit you all up next time it's time to renew hosting.  I think I did it for three years last time.

Re: index.php?action=recenttopics vs. index.php?action=recent, the functionality isn't quite the same.  We still have the index page (https://th3core.com) that has recent topics at the top.  I suspect most people didn't use it because the recenttopics at the top left navigation was so handy.  I could try to hack a link in there and make a page that is more like this new theme.  At the bottom of https://th3core.com/talk/ there is a recent posts table, which is OK, but kind of dumb in that it shows multiple listings for the same topic.

>fix

Don't bother for me.  I *might* (probably not) script the deletions of those multiple same topic listings.

LM,
thank you for your hard work!  I was worried about you. For some reason I was unable to get anything but errors, and the last time I visited was 21st feb....

I tried Richard, then Buckworks, then RC on Hubitat, and this am have an email from RC with a link to the new site.

The most important part of the site is the people, so delighted everyone is here and safe.

ditto donations....
