Cadillac Reveals Elevated Velocity Crossover Concept - CleanTechnica

https://cleantechnica.com/2025/08/15/cadillac-reveals-elevated-velocity-crossover-concept/

Given that it's Cadillac, I don't give it much chance of actually happening.

Brad

Every time I hear Cadillac I think of the big land-yachts from the 50's, 60's and 70's. I just can't adapt my thinking to Cadillac's being SUV's or crossovers (whatever that is).

Heh, my dad loved those, but not Cadillacs, though he had a few.  He switched to Lincolns in the 70s.  His/My favorite was a 2-door 1977 Lincoln Continental Town Coupe. He wanted the lower, sportier MK V but he was a big guy and couldn't get in it.  The Town Coupe (460-cu.in. 4-barrel carb, 200+ hp) was absolutely the best riding car (front seats) that I've every been in.  A real distance cruiser. We kept it for a beater for 10-12 years, even made a tool car out of it to commute in while we were building a shopping strip an hour away.

My nephew had a new Caddy - it was one of the few cars at the time (5 years ago?) that worked with Open Pilot

He is a big fan. So is my brother who owns the same car as me, but a year newer.
