Do you think humanoid robots are the future or a marketing ploy or both? I feel like for most tasks, bespoke robots not limited by the constraints of looking human would be more effective at racking up battlefield kills most manufacturing processes and the focus on humanoid robots doesn't make sense. But on the other hand, we have centuries of creating a built environment that is fitted to the human form, so a humanoid robot could step in without massive retooling.
